Common questions
Does it lay completely flat?
Not quite — it reclines through four positions but doesn't drop to a full 180°. The lowest setting is close to flat for sunbathing.
Is the sunshade removable?
Yes. The awning clips on and off, so you can use it on bright afternoons and take it down when you want full sun.
Will it hold up outdoors?
The steel frame and Oxford cloth are made for patio, poolside, and beach use. Wipe it down and store it dry to keep it looking good longer.
How heavy is it to carry?
Eleven pounds, and it folds down to about 28 inches long — light enough to carry one-handed and slim enough for most car trunks.

Care guide
How to care for your piece
Unfold and lock
Pop the chaise open on flat ground and press down on the crossbars until both side hinges click. Give the frame a quick shake to confirm nothing is half-latched before you sit.
Clip on the shade
Slide the shade's clamp onto the top bar above the headrest and tighten the knob until it stops rotating on its own. Angle the canopy toward the sun, not straight up, so the breeze still moves through.
Set your recline
Lift the backrest slightly to unload the ratchet, then drop it into one of the four notches — upright to read, flat to nap. Never adjust while seated; stand up, reset, then sit back down.
Rinse after every use
Hose off sand, sunscreen, and chlorine from the Oxford fabric and steel joints, then stand the chair open in the shade until fully dry. Putting it away damp is what rusts the hinges and mildews the seat.
Fold flat for storage
Detach the shade, collapse the chaise to the 28" flat profile, and store it indoors or under a cover — not leaning against a pool fence all season. UV and winter damp kill the fabric faster than actual use.
