This cutting board is absolutely beautiful and so functional. The carved handle makes it easy to grab, and I love that I can prep on one side and flip it over for serving. The walnut grain is stunning and it's become my favorite piece on the counter.
Worth every penny. Used it for Thanksgiving prep and then served the turkey right on it—the juice groove worked perfectly. Heavy enough that it doesn't slide around, and the walnut just keeps looking better with use.
I was worried about the thickness being too much, but it's actually perfect. Feels substantial in my hands and the double-sided design is genius for a small kitchen like mine.
Great board overall and the craftsmanship is evident. Only thing is it does need regular oiling to keep the walnut looking rich, but that's typical for wood boards this quality.

Hand-wash with warm soapy water, towel-dry, and rub in a food-safe mineral or cutting-board oil every few weeks. Don't soak it or put it in the dishwasher.
Black walnut is dense and stable, but like any solid wood it needs occasional oiling to stay sealed. Keep it out of the dishwasher and away from direct heat and it will last for years.
The round 28 cm works well as a serving board. The small rectangle (33 × 22.8 cm) suits everyday prep, and the large (40 × 28 cm) is built for bigger cuts of meat and entertaining.
